Supporters say $15-per-hour minimum wage is fair; opponents say it would be a job killer.
The new minimum will apply to employees of businesses with annual gross receipts of more than $314,000 per year.
Ohio’s minimum wage will be $8.30 on Jan. 1, a 15-cent increase.
Rate will go from $8.10 an hour to $8.15 an hour.
Ohio lawmakers are looking to raise the state’s minimum wage from $8.10 to $10.10.
