GREENWICH TOWNSHIP — An 18-year-old Greenwich man was killed in a single-car accident Thursday night.

David France Jr. was driving a 1998 Buick Regal eastbound on Plymouth East Road when he lost control of his car and went off the right side of the road striking a ditch, according to reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The car overturned several times before coming to a rest on the driver’s door in a farm field.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. east of Ohio 13 in Greenwich Township.
