SANDUSKY — Murder, mystery and mayhem comes to the Sandusky State Theatre this evening.

But don’t worry. This isn’t an event to fear. In fact, the show, which takes place at 6 p.m., will be entertaining and fun.

The Great Lakes Visual & Performing Arts Academy will present “Best Laid Plans, And Old Hollywood Murder Mystery,” with an evening of laughter, entertainment, gourmet food, with each participant becoming a suspicious detective for the night.

Audience members will have the chance to gather information, trade clues with peers, interact with cast members as their characters — all while enjoying a meal from Creative Cuisine.

Attendees are invited to dress in 1930’s Hollywood theme.

“The whole reason for the event is for the students to have a chance to interact with professional actors,” said Rosalyn Shepherd, chair of planning for the academy. “It’s a great opportunity for the children to observe and learn from talented performers.”

Shepherd encourages area residents to attend the show.

“It’s going to be so much fun for the community,” Shepherd said. “It will be an event for the community to enjoy a night out with some genuine fun and entertainment.”

Pre-sale tickets are required. Call 419-626-1950 or pick up tickets at Sandusky State Theatre.
