NORWALK — Jeanie L. (Knallay) Holzmiller, 69, Norwalk, died Friday morning, Oct. 25, 2019, in Norwalk Memorial Home following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 24, 1950 in Norwalk, the daughter of James and Florence (Yenik) Knallay. She was employed at various locations throughout her career, including time as a police dispatcher, paramedic for North Central EMS, a 911 operator for the Huron County Sheriff’s Department and a transportation coordinator for Services for the Aging. She enjoyed decorating, crafts and spending time with her family.

Jeanie is survived by her children, Shelly, Wendy, Heidi and Gabriel; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, LuAnn (Richard); a brother, James (Julie); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Linda, and her beloved dog Bella.

Private family graveside services will take place in Milan Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
