She was born Sept. 3, 1955, in Norwalk, and was a 1973 graduate of Monroeville High School. She retired after 30 years of service from Norwalk Furniture. Sharon was a former Mayor of Monroeville. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts, and reading. Spending time with her grandkids was her favorite pastime, teaching them her avid baking and cooking skills.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Kari (Brad) Dunlap; son, William (Whitney) Miller; parents, William “Bill” and Felecia (Bauer) Stang; four grandchildren, Zella, McKenna, Brycen, and Lochran; two sisters, Joan (Russ) Smith and Bonnie (Bret) Gfell; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the funeral home, the Rev. Dr. Amy Little will officiate.
