Ella Mae Hamons

SHILOH — Ella Mae Hamons, 66, of Shiloh, and formerly of Greenwich, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, in her home with her loved ones.

She was born Oct. 11, 1953, in New Haven, to Charity Shepherd Lacy.

Ella was a homemaker most of her life. She loved to spread the word of Jesus. She loved her children and grandchildren and watching them grow. Most of all, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her children, Josh (Gwen) Hamons of Bellevue, Jon Hamons, Sissy (Rory) Kuhn of Shiloh; daughter-in-law, Linda Hamons of Bellevue; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Chaddock and Rita Tolle; six brothers, Ronald Lacy, Glen Lacy, James Lacy, Gary Lacy, Duane Lacy, Todd Lacy; a stepdaughter, Debra Stahl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Melvin Hamons; brother, Charles Bo Lacy; and three stepsons, Melvin Ray, Doyle J, and Lyle R. Hamons.

Friends and family may gather from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, until services at noon, at Secor Funeral Home in Willard. Pastor Bill Howell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice in Sandusky.
