Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jean Vanderpool, by his father, Harles Vanderpool, by his grandmother, Myrtle Vanderpool, by his children, Robert (Treena) Vanderpool of Netti, West Virginia, Jeffrey (Christina) Vanderpool of New London, Ohio, Steven Mockler of Norwalk, Ohio, Courtney Mockler (Eli Schafer) of Norwalk, Ohio, Emily Mockler (Mark Palinski) of Huron, Ohio, Anna (Benjamin) Love of Monroeville, Ohio, and Benjamin Vanderpool of Norwalk, Ohio.
He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, Derek, Kristen, Shane, Summer, Tiffany, Caleb, Jeffrey, Paige, Cameron, Brody, Jackson, Ethan, Brooke, Addelynn, Xzavior, Alex, Jeffrey, Sylus, Mark, Waylon, Hunter, and Charlotte, and by two great grandchildren, Stella and Opal. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda (Dave) Seidel, John (Sherry) Vanderpool, Tim (Brenda) Vanderpool, Sarah Vanderpool, Kay (Rod) Zellner, and Debbie (Jeff) Gilbert, and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Vanderpool in 2015, by his mother and father in law, Tom and Mary Mockler, by his brothers in law, Rod Felver, and William Smith, by his nephew Cody, and his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Ron Schock will officiate. Interment will be at St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, for the development of the Robert A.
