WILLARD —The North Coast Concert Band returns for the Concert in the Park series for a performance at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Willard.

The group is comprised of more than 70 instrumentalists from a variety of communities throughout Northwest Ohio. They have proven to be a crowd favorite in Northwest Ohio, having started in 1983 and continuing to grow.

The multi-talented band has its own library that includes marches, medleys, holiday music and music for soloists, vocalists and small ensembles with band accompaniment, plus symphonic band works by composers from several eras. The North Coast Concert Band is sure to put on a performance that everyone will enjoy.

Concessions will be available. However, concert-goers are welcome to bring a picnic basket and utilize one of the covered picnic tables.

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors at the Depot building, which is adjacent to the regular concert area.

The Concerts in the Park series is presented by Pepperidge Farm and the Willard recreation department.

Every Tuesday night through Aug. 13, a different group or performer plays and the music styles can range from bluegrass to rock to classical to folk. For more information, call 419-935-1654.
