HURON — The Cleveland-based trio Cellocentric will perform during the Live with Friends Concert Series at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Huron Public Library.

Cellocentric brings a myriad of styles and influences to their shows including folk, swing jazz, Latin music and classical music.

“The trio is very interesting because we provide such a unique combination of instruments,” band member David Wood said.

The band has been bringing their style of instrumental music to a growing number of fans across the state.

Wood is originally from Huron and has an impressive professional musical career.

“I am just happy to play at my hometown because it brings back such good memories,” Wood said. “I always cross my fingers that Pied Piper is open when I come home to visit.”

As a solo artist, Wood’s music has appeared on National Public Radio and has collaborated with professional performers, including Grammy winner Roy “Futureman” Wooten.

The series, Live with Friends, is sponsored by Friends of the Huron Public Library, is free and no registration required.
