Detroit Symphony Orchestra String Trio will perform in Port Clinton

PORT CLINTON —The Detroit Symphony Orchestra String Trio is scheduled to entertain an audience in Port Clinton this weekend.

The show will start at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Firelands Presbyterian Church, 2626 E. Harbor Road, Port Clinton. The concert venue seats about 100 people and has excellent acoustics.

“Each trio member is a first-chair player with the Detroit Symphony,” a news release states.

The trio will perform string adaptations of Haydn, Beethoven and Dohnanyi. 

The Musical Arts Series in Port Clinton, which includes this concert,  presents many concerts throughout the year.

Tickets will be available at the door. Students enter for free.

Following the concert, the audience will be invited to meet the performers at a reception.
