When the parkway was constructed, the county approved this arrangement, but recently questions about the matter have been raised.
The decision means the village will still remove snow and keep grass and weeds under control.
In other business, council:
* Agreed with Pickworth’s recommendation to lease the 33.6 acres of village farmland to Chris Clark under a five-year contract. He will pay $93 an acre for the first three years and $94 for the final two.

* Heard the Super Raffle, which is sponsored by the Friends of the New London Parks, the Rotary and the CIC, is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17 in the Hileman Building.
