Graziani and Longer to tie the knot

Jacqueline Graziani of Norwalk and Gavin Longer of Sandusky have announced their engagement.

The couple met through a mutual friend. Gavin, a long-time resident at The Chesapeake Lofts, little did he know he was living down the hall from his now fiance. Jacqueline decided to move to the Chesapeake Lofts and their love for dogs brought them closer together.

Enjoying the outdoors with their dogs, Max and Ally, they would frequently pass each other and have small conversation around the Chesapeake. The rest is history. They were engaged on Dec. 12, 2018, in Honolulu, Hawaii, atop Diamond Head.

Jacqueline is the daughter of Cheryl (Eric) Kirk of Norwalk and Michael (Linda) Graziani of Norwalk. She was born in Sandusky and grew up in Norwalk. She is a 2005 graduate of Norwalk St. Paul High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2009 at Capital University.

She went on to advance her career and earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree at The University of Cincinnati in 2013. She is a Nurse Practitioner at Advanced Neurologic Associates.

Gavin is the son of Leonard and Elaine Longer of Sandusky. He was born in Sandusky. He is a 2002 graduate of Sandusky St. Mary’s High School. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a focus in Tourism Administration in 2006 at Bowling Green State University.

He is employed through his family’s business, North Coast Inn’s Inc., where he is in charge of revenue management, sales and operations.

The couple enjoys traveling, nature, good food, their dogs, work and boating.

The wedding is set for Sept. 7, 2019.
