The Wildcats scored 45 points, which was well ahead of second-place Fredericktown (89).
St. Paul was fourth (163) and Western Reserve was 20th (507).
Curtis Joppeck again paced the Wildcats, placing third overall out of 159 runners in 16:27.1. Dominic Albaugh was seventh (16:59.8), followed by Tyler Twining (10th, 17:15.6), Carson Coey (12th, 17:28.3), Mitchell Joppeck (17th, 17:42.2), Caleb Good (18th, 17:44.2) and Braeden Geist (29th, 18:03.8).
For the Flyers, Zack Stine was 13th overall in 17:30.3 to lead the way. Ian Deeter was 23rd (17:57.2), followed by Gavin Ross (30th, 18:04.5), Isaac Thimke (39th, 18:12.3), Ryan Gross (63rd, 18:57.3), Collin Liedorff (19:38) and Ryan Walker (94th, 19:59.4).
Plymouth’s Levi Robinson also had another strong showing, placing fifth overall in 16:45.4.
Western was led by Logan Rogers was 59th (18:49.3), followed by Sean Murdock (71st, 19:11.7) and Aidan Perez (83rd, 19:39.2).
NL girls 4th, Western 6th
The Wildcat girls finished with 142 points to place fourth out of 18 teams, while Western Reserve was sixth (171) and St. Paul was 11th with 245 points.
Kaylin Williams was second overall out of 126 runners for New London in 19:23. Also for the Wildcats, Savannah Shaver was 10th (20:47.6), followed by Abigail Good (34th, 22:09.6), Grace Crawshaw (43rd, 22:49.2), Emily White (60th, 23:19.3), Esther Schmidt (62nd, 23:25.8) and Lacey Hall (87th, 25:02.6).
Tabi Pausch was again the top finisher for the Roughriders, placing 23rd in 21:32.1. Right behind her was McKenna Woodruff (24th, 21:34.7), followed by Ashlyn Barnhart (28th, 21:44.4), Madison Weiser (83rd, 24:23.2) and Rachel Herbkersman (84th, 24:30.6).
Senior Lily Dowdell was fifth overall in 19:53.4 to pace St. Paul. Cheyene Null (22:44.5) was 42nd, followed by Madelyn McCall (50th, 23:06.7), Dana Sumpter (78th, 24:11.2), Josalyn Vazquez (82nd, 24:20.5) and Olivia Hosack (99th, 25:50.9).
Norwalk boys 18th
Kyler Kromer placed 16th overall in a time of 16:34.1 to lead the Truckers in the boys race.
Also for Norwalk, Wyatt Hale (17:18.1) was 51st, followed by Cobey Kromer (58th, 17:23.7), Gabe Hainline (117th, 18:14.2), Samuel Neuberger (136th, 18:39.7) and Xavier Sweet (150th, 19:07.6).
Lambert 6th for Edison
In the Div. II boys race, Edison’s Daniel Lambert crossed the finish line in 16:15.6 to finish sixth overall out of 163 runners.
Also for the Chargers, Eli Webb was 53rd (17:48.7), followed by Dax Austin (73rd, 18:17.7), Brock Tice (78th, 18:26.9) and Gabe Tice (99th, 18:47.7).
For Willard, Landon Schaffer was 35th (17:29.4) and Trenton Rupert was 45th (17:42.1). Nick Bauer was 95th (18:45.1).
Edison girls place 7th
Abby Lesniak finished in fourth overall out of 125 runners in a time of 18:41.6 to help the Chargers to a seventh-place team finish out of 18 schools.
Also for the Chargers, Peyton Facemire was 31st (21:10.6), followed by Paige Schaefer (58th, 22:15), Lindsay Sneider (70th, 22:56.7), Ava Miller (71st, 22:57) and Isabellah Linder (97th, 24:42.5).
Willard was paced by Amy Del Angel (29th, 21:03.2). Also for the Flashes, Madison Clark was 81st (23:38.5) and Araceli Huerta was 90th (24:14.3).
For Norwalk, Kylie Moser was 60th (22:18.1), followed by Ava Henderson (93rd, 24:25) and Kallie Arndt (124th, 31:14.5).
Monroeville competes at Lakota
KANSAS — Monroeville girls runner Rachel Herner placed 41st on Saturday in a time of 23:43.96 at the Myron Cline Invitational at Lakota High School.
Adelynn Kradlak was 58th (24:43.58) for the Eagles, and Payton Scheid was 78th (26:16.59).
In the boys race, Ellis Herner was 78th (19:59.07) and Caleb Lykins was 88th (20:43.63).
