The owners of Berry’s Restaurant say they are open and doing well, despite rumors to the contrary.

The restaurant at 15 W. Main St. has made many recent improvements that will bring out the business’ rich history, owners Doug and Lynn Berry said.

The process, which has been more than a year in the making, has been “very dear” to them, the couple said.

“(We) brought the history back alive to the detail of the tin ceiling, the photos on the walls and colors,” Lynn Berry said. “Plus all the work has been hand-done by Doug and I.”

The renovations are expected to be finished in the next week.

Berry’s Restaurant is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
