MANSFIELD — Cleveland’s own Tammy Pescatelli will visit the Renaissance Theatre for a single performance taking place at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Comedians Rocky LaPorte and Josh Sneed will join Pescatelli. The event is part of the Shaw-Ott Medical Comedy Series, with additional sponsorship from Nanogate Jay Systems, LLC.

Pescatelli brings brassy sexiness with a female voice of witty sarcasm, holding her own on the topics of sports, television, dating and family life using tongue-in-cheek humor.

Her most recent one-hour special, “Finding The Funny” — available on Netflix — is just one of her new and noteworthy endeavors, which also include big appearances on “The View” and “The Howard Stern Show.” Pescatelli was chosen by Jenny McCarthy to be a part of her “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” comedy special on EPIX, a hilarious all-female slate of standup comedians who toured together in 2015.

With a slew of other accolades under her belt, Pescatelli has appeared on a number of television shows such as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” (twice), Bravo’s “Rocco’s Dinner Party” CBS’s “The Talk,” NBC’s “Last Comic Standing: The Best of the Best,” two of her own Comedy Central specials and not to mention 100-plus appearances on “talking head” shows for VH1, CMT, MTV, E!, A&E, TVGuide and more. Also a regular on USO Comedy tours, Pescatelli has entertained our troops all over the world.

LaPorte’s appeal comes from his every-man, blue-collar, street-wise style of comedy. Delivering laughs in his trademark Brooklyn accent, he has become one of the most sought-after comedians in the country. His appearance on “Last Comic Standing” found him to be an audience favorite, garnering him a coveted spot as one of the Top 5 finalists and member of the show’s U.S. comedy tour.

A former Chicago truck driver and dock worker, LaPorte has accumulated a slew of performances throughout his career including being a featured comic on Showtime’s “The Godfathers of Comedy,” a special starring five of America’s most hilarious Italian-American comics, along with “Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie,” another Showtime special for which he traveled to Iraq with Drew Carey to entertain the troops. LaPorte also has filmed his own “Comedy Central Presents” special, was voted Comedy Central’s second most popular comedian in a nationwide poll, has performed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and appeared on A&E’s “Evening At The Improv,” VH-1’s “Stand-Up Spotlight,” the sitcom “Cheers” and his own NBC pilot called the “Rocky LaPorte Show.”

Sneed headlines shows in standup comedy clubs across the country and frequently appears at private and corporate events. He was chosen by Comedy Central to perform in their inaugural South Beach Comedy Festival, has starred in his own 30-minute stand-up special “Comedy Central Presents: Josh Sneed” and finished second out of 100 of Comedy Central’s top comedians in the annual Stand-up Showdown Competition.

His album on Comedy Central Records, “Unacceptable,” was selected as one of iTunes’ Top 10 comedy albums. Sneed has performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and garnered praise from “Punchline Magazine” after performing at the Aspen Comedy Festival. He is a favorite of the nationally syndicated “The Bob & Tom Show” and can be heard frequently on Sirius/XM Radio. Sneed has opened for big names including Ron White, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Mitch Hedberg, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, Jim Norton, Daniel Tosh, Jim Gaffigan, Patrice O’Neal and Greg Giraldo.

Tickets are on sale at the Renaissance Box Office, via phone at 419-522-2726 and online at MansfieldTickets.com.
