MONROEVILLE — Foot Soldier Ministry held its open house this afternoon at the old Howard Leis Furniture building, 13 S. Main St., Monroeville. Norwalk resident Archie Leis donated the building to the non-profit ministry group, the umbrella for Metal for Moms. It will hold a non-profit gym and Bible studies. The Machine Gun Preacher himself — Sam Childers, who has done ministry in Africa for the last 23 years — spoke at the open house. Enjoy these photos by reporter Cary Ashby and look for a story next week.
