Pictures of the boys' regional cross country meet

Runners from Western Reserve, New London, St. Paul, Plymouth, Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic, Edison, Willard, Huron, Perkins and Norwalk joined other qualifiers at Hedges-Boyer Park in Tiffin on Saturday for the 2017 OHSAA Boys Regional Cross Country Meet. For boys in Division III, New London in second place with 123 points and Sandusky SMCC with 268 points both earned a trip to the state meet at National Trail Raceway next weekend in Hebron. Trevor Tucker form Western Reserve also earned a trip to state with his time of 17:06.85 being good for 28th place. In DII, the top three teams and top 12 individuals advance to state. Daniel Lambert from Edison was the top area finisher, with his time of 16:40.81 being good for 7th place overall. The top three teams and individuals finishing in the top 12 in DI from Region 2 go to the state meet. Norwalk Chirstopher Mohr was the top area finisher, coming in 24th overall with a time of 16:58.48.
