Huron County construction report

Here is the ODOT District 3 weekly construction report for the week of Oct. 7.

HURON COUNTY

U.S.: Slide Repair

U.S. 20 eastbound, just east of the U.S. 250 exit ramp on the Norwalk bypass, will have a single-lane closure for slide repair work. Crews will begin construction for the retaining wall along U.S. 20. The project is expected to be completed this month.

U.S. 20: Resurfacing

U.S. 20, west of the village of Wakeman to the Lorain County line, will intermittent lane closures for a resurfacing project and structure repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be completed this month.

U.S.: Bridge repair

U.S. 20 in the village of Wakeman, at the structure over the Vermilion River, will have reduced lane widths and traffic shifted to complete bridge repair work. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. The project is expected to be completed this month.

U.S, 224

U.S. 224 in the village of Greenwich, between Park Drive and Orchard Street, is closed for a bridge repair project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is U.S. 224 to Ohio 61, north on Ohio 61 to Ohio 162, east on Ohio 162 to Ohio 13, south on Ohio 13 to U.S. 224, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to be reopened Friday, Nov. 8.
