LYNDHURST — Allison Gilmet, of Cleveland, and John McLaughlin, of Mayfield Heights, exchanged wedding vows on July 7 at the Church of Saint Clare in Lyndhurst. Officiants were Rev. Stanley Klasinski, pastor, Rev. Oswald Ferguson, Rev. Douglas Hunter and Rev. Scott Woods.

Matron of honor was Samantha Hentkowski, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jackie Gilmet, sister of the bride, and Mary Endsley, of Mayfield Heights, sister of the groom. Genevieve Hentkowski, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Brian McLaughlin, of Tampa, Fla., served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Hentkowski, brother-in-law of the bride, and Adam Endsley, of Mayfield Heights, brother-in-law of the groom. The groom’s nephews, Luke Endsley and Jack Endsley of Mayfield Heights, were ring bearers.

The bride is the daughter of Cathy and Doug Gilmet, of Rogers City, Mich. She graduated from Rogers City High School in 2009 and from Central Michigan University in 2013. She is a teacher at Beaumont School in Cleveland Heights.

The groom is the son of Cindy and Tom McLaughlin, of Norwalk. He graduated from Norwalk St. Paul High School in 2004, from Otterbein University in 2009, and from St. Meinrad School of Theology in 2013. He is a software engineer with AM Trust Financial, Inc. in Cleveland.
