Rain is forecast today and Saturday, when high temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s, respectively.

On Sunday, it will be colder — with snow a possibility in the morning.

Here is the Norwalk-area forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today - Showers likely, mainly before 11 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 42. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tonight - Showers. Low around 41. East wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday - Showers. High near 52. South wind 10 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday night - Rain showers likely before 11 p.m., then snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday - A chance of snow showers before 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 37. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Sunday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 25.

Monday - Sunny, with a high near 42.

Monday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 30.

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 51.

Tuesday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 36.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 57.
