Severe thunderstorm warning issued

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Huron County in north central Ohio, Erie County in north central Ohio and southwestern Lorain County in north central Ohio until 4:30 p.m. 

At 3:33 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Norwalk, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include Norwalk, Bellevue, Wellington, New London, Northern Milan, Milan, Wakeman, Oberlin, Pittsfield, Monroeville, Berlin Heights, Kipton and Rochester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
