Former Browns player Al 'Bubba' Baker to be on 'Shark Tank' tonight

• Apr 14, 2017 at 4:36 PM

Tonight at 9 on ABC, “Shark Tank” will air an update of Bubba's-Q Boneless Ribs.

Bubba's-Q, a recently NMSDC-certified Ohio-based BBQ restaurant and online store, is owned and operated by former Cleveland Browns' football star Al "Bubba" Baker. The company drew national attention after appearing on a 2013 episode of ABC's worldwide hit television program "Shark Tank," when series regular "Shark" Daymond John invested $300,000 for a 30 percent stake in the company.

Baker and his ribs will be featured on tonight’s episode of "Shark Tank" during a "Where Are They Now?" segment highlighting the successes of some of the show's most accomplished entrepreneurs. The partnership between Bubba's-Q, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's will be a main focus of the segment, and will include Baker and John visiting the Carl's Jr. test kitchen to meet with Brad Haley (chief marketing officer), Mike Murphy (president), and Bruce Frazer (senior vice president, product marketing/research and development) to talk about the partnership and give an exclusive first look at the new Baby Back Rib Burger.
