CLYDE — The Sandusky Bay Conference Lake and Bay Division boys soccer champions could meet in a sectional championship game following Sunday’s Division II Clyde district tournament draw.

At 5 p.m. on Oct. 14, Bay champion Edison (11-1-2) and Huron (8-2-4) will meet for a third time this season in a sectional semifinal in Milan. The Tigers won 1-0 on Aug. 26 in Milan and the two teams played to a scoreless tie in Huron on Sept. 16.

The winner of that match advances to face No. 4 Norwalk (11-1-3) on Oct. , which shared the Lake Division with No. 3-seeded Vermilion (11-1-2) this season. The Truckers and Chargers did not play this season, while Norwalk won, 2-1, at Huron this past Saturday.

The winner between Edison-Huron-Norwalk advances to a district semifinal, set for 5 p.m. Oct. 21 vs. likely top-seeded Lexington (13-1).

In Div. III, Willard (6-8-1) is the No. 6 seed in the Tiffin district. The Crimson Flashes will either visit Ada (8-5-1) or host Cory-Rawson (1-10) depending on who wins in a sectional title match at 3 p.m. on Oct. 19. Rawson will play at Ada on Oct. 16.

The winner between those three teams advances to an Oct. 22 district semifinal at Columbian High School against likely top-seeded Bluffton (11-2-1).
