She was born on July 14, 1939 in Floyd County, Ky. to the late Willie and Rachel (Tuttle) Collins. She was a resident of Greenwich for 54 years.
Dorise retired after 40 years of working from Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard. She was a member of Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling to Carty Hill, Ky. with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchild were very important to her and she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda (Darren) Koah of Ashville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Frank (Sara) Mareno of Grove City, Ohio and Megan (Nathan) Beavers of Circleville, Ohio; great grandchild, Liara Mae Beavers; sister, Gwendora (Coy) Cano of Texas; and sisters-in-law, Vonda, Phyllis and Audrey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thurman Jones; and five brothers and seven sisters, Junior (Marie) Collins, Samuel Collins, Arnold Collins, Amos Collins, Bill Collins Sr., Lucille (Grover) Moore, Melva (Bob) Brewer, Juanita Collins Lacy, Avanelle Absher, Ruth Ramey, ImaJean (Vaughn) Baker, and Helen (Lavoughn) Isaac.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Little Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church, 4982 Henry Road in Plymouth, where a church service will start at 6 p.m. Friday and where her funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday with elders of the church officiating.
