NORWALK — Anna F. Wargo, 72, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born on September 31, 1946 to the late Clarence and Laura (nee Helmick) Hupp in Marietta, Ohio. Anna was an “army brat” living all over the country from Fort Knox to Ford Ord and as far as Germany.

After her retirement she went on to achieve a Master of Divinity degree. She was a minister at the former Salem United Methodist Church, held many bible studies, and was an active member of the Republican Party.

Anna loved to read science fiction novels, cook with her granddaughter, and garden. In her later years, she fell in love with coloring, and spent many happy hours creating beautiful pictures. She also adored her cats, and was known to take in strays.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Wargo of Norwalk; granddaughter, Cecilia Wargo Stevens, and brothers Bruce and Rick Hupp of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband of 39 years, Kenneth Wargo.
