She also worked for over 20 years at the Havana & Omar Grain and Supply Company. She enjoyed gardening, and loved roses and hummingbirds. She is also survived by her great-grandson, Ezra Lamm Morales, whose recent trip to Havana to meet her gave her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin. In the 66 years of their marriage, rarely a day went by that he did not tell her how pretty she was. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dolores Bettac and Jeanette Compton, and her brothers Ted Bettac and Donald Bettac.
