EUSTIS, FLA.  — Wesley M. Stevens, 95, of Eustis, FL passed away on April 5, 2019.

He was born on February 8, 1924 in Lansing, MI to Murdo and Hazel Stevens, the oldest of three children. He graduated from New London High School in 1943 and served proudly in the United States Army-Air Corps during WWII in Okinawa. He lived in the New London, OH area until 1968.

He was employed at The Ohio Body in NL and worked as an air conditioning mechanic in Florida. 

He was active in church at the Fitchville United Methodist, Coral Ridge Presbyterian in Ft. Lauderdale, and others in Lake and Marion Counties in Florida. He married Betty J. Fitzpatrick and together they had 3 sons and 1 daughter.

He is survived by his sons: Mark of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada and Charles (Nancy) of Lewisville, TX; daughter: Wendy (David) Boehm of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his spouse, son Murray, and two brothers, Harold and Donald. 

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Regency Park ALF unit in Eustis, FL. Online condolences may be made at Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Umatilla, FL.
