Joshua Lee Handshoe

SHELBY — Joshua Lee Handshoe, 42, of Shelby and formally of Plymouth, djed Thursday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on July 23, 1976 in Willard, Ohio, to Robert and Bonnie (Shepherd) Handshoe.

Joshua was a 1994 Pioneer Vocational School and Willard High School graduate and had worked as a welder.

He had worked at Didion’s Mechanical, Quality Control both in Bellevue and then The Crane in Bucyrus for many years. Joshua loved the outdoors.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and hunting camping trips. His children and grandson were the loves of his life. He was loved by all of his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Joshua is survived by his children, Haley (Joe) Heydinger, Hunter Handshoe, Hayden Handshoe; a grandson, Dayne Heydinger; parents, Robert and Bonnie Handshoe; mother of his children, Shari Handshoe; numerous friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mabel and Henderson Shepherd and paternal grandparents, Vince and Carrie Handshoe.
