BELLEVUE — William Gohlike, 61, of Bellevue, died Oct. 3 at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

He was born June 19, 1957 in Bellevue, the son of William J. and Pearl “Sharon” (Brooks) Gohlike.

Bill graduated from Bellevue High School in 1975. After graduation he enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1976 until 1979. He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for Bellevue Manufacturing until 2005. Bill was an avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan, and lived and breathed The Ohio State Buckeyes with a great disdain for that Xichigan team up north. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, but adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

He is survived by his two daughters, Sharon (Greg) Francis of Bellevue, Valerie (William) Jackson of Port Clinton; four grandchildren, Leyna and William Jackson, and Savannah and Grayson Francis; a brother, George (Amie) Gohlike of Port Clinton; sisters, Jacqueline (James) Fry of Bellevue, Diane (George) Kalpakidis of Bellevue, and Laura (Jon) Eubanks of Bellevue.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Gohlike.

At Bill’s request there will be no services. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is assisting the family with arrangements.
