Thomas Willis Bond, Jr.

NORWALK — Thomas Willis Bond, Jr. was born on December 14, 1942 in Norwalk, Ohio. He died on August 5, 2018.

Tom grew up on the family farm in North Fairfield where he enjoyed riding horses. After high school he served in the Air Force. He was a Local 940 Union Carpenter for many years. He worked for Bay Construction and helped build The Gemini, and Demon Drop rides at Cedar Point. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, teaching Sunday School, driving the church bus and Christmas carolling with his family. He also liked spending time with his family outdoors while hunting, canoeing and visiting Jamies Flea Market. He offered a helping hand to many.

He leaves behind his wife, Jewell, son, Thomas (Tacy) Bond III, daughters, Jenni (Todd ) Olsen and Kathy (Scott) Cring. He was blessed with ten grandchildren Grant, Julia, Kristen, Megan Olsen, Travis, Bethany, Kayla, Elijah Cring, Hunter and Sophia Bond.

Per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be a private memorial service.
