She was born August 5, 1931 in Waxahachie, Tx. to the late Jasper N. and Jewell M. (Upchurch) Rigsby.
Ila Fay proudly served her country in United States Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean Conflict. She retired in 1982 from Worthington Ball, Elyria after 20 years. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and participated in the Altar & Rosary Society and was a member of the Pink Ladies. She was very active in her community and spent many hours volunteering. In her spare time she enjoyed, bowling, making crafts, dancing, and crocheting lap quilts for the patients of FTMC. She was very social and loved going gambling, out to lunch and on trips with her girlfriends.
She is survived by her brother, Dink R. Rigsby; step children, Darlene (Leonard) Dimitrijevs, Joseph (Kathryn) and Ronald (Yuki) Arhar; six grandchildren, Kayla (Nick), Aleksandra, Carolen (Francisco), Kristina (Steven), Rebecca and AnnMarie; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Provoznik, her second husband, Ronald Arhar; and her brother, Jasper Rigsby Jr.
Friends may call, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5pm until 7pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church on Main Street in Wakeman. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
