She was born on March 3, 1929 in New London, the daughter of the late Katherine M. (nee McKean) and Homer C. Clark. She was a 1947 graduate of New London High School.
Lucille retired from Thomas Creative Apparel in New London and had previously worked for the former CE Ward Company from 1969-1978. She was a member of the New London United Methodist Church. Lucille enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She had made nearly 500 hats and shawls which she donated to schools and many local children.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Diane (George) Starkey of New London and Kathleen (Harley) Bossenbroek of Akron; 4 grandchildren, Christina (Charlie) Paramore, James P. (Natalie) Starkey, Matthew (Gini) Bossenbroek and Kirsten (John) Spalding; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Olson and brothers, Eugene and Albert Clark.
There will a visitation held at Eastman Funeral Home in New London on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 4-7 pm and again on Friday from 10 am until the 11 am service with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
