ST. JACOB, Ill. — Joseph A. Kenley, 61, of St. Jacob, died Tuesday at his residence.

He was born Oct. 28, 1956 in Latrobe, Penn.

He loved gardening, traveling the highways and byways of America while doing his job as a trucker.

Surviving are his wife, Denise L. Lacquement, nee Porter, whom he married June 14, 2018 in St. Louis, Mo.; good friends and stepsons, Josh Cocker and Ben Lacquement of St. Jacob, Ill.; a brother, Thomas (Cookie) Kenley of Hawaii; a sister, Nancy (Mike) McCormick of Norwalk, Ohio; a nieces, Risa and Kaianna; a nephew Ralph.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Lois, nee Henry, Dunmire.

Memorials may be made to the Disable Veterans Association or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Joseph’s wishes were to be cremated and no services held.

Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill. assisted the family with arrangements.
