He was born August 12, 1930 in Uniontown, PA to the late Huber and Garnet (Miller) Shelton. He served in the US Navy Seabees as a mechanic in the Atlantic Fleet during the Korean conflict. He worked at Chefs Pantry for 25 years, EHOVE, and then retired after nine years at Fair Publishing in 1995.
He is survived by his daughters, Catherine (Ken) Latimer of Naples, FL and Christy (Keith) Wohlever of Sandusky; a sister, Carol Shelton of Pittsburgh, PA; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne M. Shelton in 2012; brothers, Wayne and James Shelton.
A private service was held at Milan Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
