Harold R. Conley

WILLARD — Harold R. Conley, 82, of Willard, died Saturday at The Willows at Willard surrounded by her family.

He was born July 3, 1935 in Rock Fork, Ky. and had lived in Willard most of his life. He worked for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad.

He is survived by his three daughters, Angie (Don) Peeler of Willard, Karen (Rich) Kilgore of Willard and Pam (John) Danhoff of Marietta, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kasey (Mike Girardot of Liberty Township, Hollie Kilgore of Willard and Amanda (Clint) Deaton of Hilliard; five siblings, Gypsie Holida of Willard, Ron Conley of Willard, Mitch Conley of Willard, Gert Owens of Greenwich and Brenda Adams of Willard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. (Hughes) Conley, whom he married May 6, 1954 and who died April 19, 2018; mother, Pearlie (Hunter) Conley; a granddaughter, Kristin Peeler; and six siblings, Oscar Conley, Bob Conley, Betty Payne, Bert Maudsley Earnestine Conley and Buford Conley.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be at  noon Monday. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Fremont or Starting Point Outreach Center in Willard.
