He was born May 16, 1938 in Norwalk and was a 1957 graduate of Monroeville High School. Jim had been employed at International Tubing, Bellevue and prior to this he had worked for the former Lasch Furniture in Monroeville, as well as spending a short time working for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He is survived by one brother, Hank Lasch of Sandusky; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Catherine (Schaub) Lasch; two brothers, Robert Lasch and Lawrence “Larry” Lasch, Sr.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:30 AM in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville. Fr. Ronald A. Schock will officiate. A luncheon will follow in the St. Joseph Social Hall, Monroeville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
