She was born on October 28, 1937, in Wakeman, and has lived in the Wakeman and Collins area her entire life. She graduated from Mount Vernon Academy and went on to become a LPN, after graduating from the Sandusky School of Practical Nursing. She worked at the Ohio Veterans Home for 15 years.
She attended Freedom Christian Fellowship and was a member of the Wakeman Grange. She loved traveling, crochet, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Victoria Osterland, of New London, Cheryle (Clayton) McIntire, of Hinesville, GA, Laurie (Mark) Oney, of Wakeman, and Jack Bickley, of Sandusky, nine grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Ruth (Gibson) Bursley, her husband Kenneth Myers, siblings Benny, Richard, Audrey, Raymond, Herbert, and Samuel, and a great-granddaughter Katherine Davidson.
Friends may call on Saturday October 14, from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Pastor Roy Harless will be officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Clarksfield Cemetery.
