The clients of CLI, formerly Christie Lane Industries, were excited to have local musician Great Grandpa Beebe perform at their most recent Fun Friday event.

Great Grandpa Beebe’s creative musical style and contagious, happy vibes were a big hit with the group.

The clients have a great response to any kind of music, especially live musicians. That was just the case when Matthew Beebe — aka Great Grandpa Beebe — visited.

“The audience laughed and made jokes between songs. He is wonderful with the clients and staff here,” said Lisa Long, CLI direct care staff member.

Beebe had performed previously for CLI at a Halloween event.

“The clients enjoyed his performance at the party and wanted him to come back. Matt has since made plans with us to come play at CLI when he is available,” Long said.

CLI has been fortunate to have great support of local musicians. Chris Castle performed at 16 West during an Imagine Norwalk event, with all proceeds benefiting the Starfish Project. A non-profit organization, the local Starfish Project offers scholarships to Christ-centered, life-recovery programs throughout Ohio and the surrounding states.

“At CLI we are excited to support as well as build local community. We are in support of local business, musicians, artists and other local non-profits,” Long said.
