LoCash coming to the Huron County Fair

Local country music fans might be excited by the featured act at this year’s Huron County Fair.

The high-energy rising stars LoCash will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13 in the grandstand area.

LoCash, formerly known as LoCash Cowboys, is a duo consisting of vocalists Chris Lucas of Baltimore and Preston Brust of Kokomo, Ind.

The duo has released two albums and charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay chart.

The highest-charting single is "I Know Somebody,” which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2016. Other hits “Ring on Every Finger” and “Love This Life”

In addition to its own material, Brust and Lucas co-wrote Keith Urban's No. 1 single "You Gonna Fly" and Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah.”

For any wishing to secure their seats before the concert, presale tickets will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting this Saturday, at the Huron County Fairgrounds. 

The Huron County Fair will offer an exciting lineup of entertainment options for all ages throughout the week.

Tuesday offers free admission until 3 p.m. for Kids’ Day with free activities all day long and a cheer bonanza in the evening.

Wednesday is Veteran's Day, where veterans get into the fair for a penny. The day wraps up with an OSTPA Tractor Pull.

Thursday is Senior Day at the fair, offering admission to all 65 and over for a penny, with free activities starting at 9 a.m. and Moto-Cross racing that takes place in the evening.

On Friday admission is $1 off with a canned food donation. A Rough Truck event will take place in the evening.

Saturday wraps up a week of fun with the annual Demo Derby in the evening.

K-96 will be broadcasting live, giving away prizes and fun for all throughout the week. Demonstrations will take place daily, including some of glass blowing and chain saw carvings. An auction of these creations will take place Saturday evening.

The beloved Professor Bubblemaker returns with demonstrations throughout each day as well.
