NEW LONDON — For the fifth year, Great Grandpa Beebe celebrates his “104th” birthday in style Friday through Sunday with the annual JubileeGo Arts & Music Festival.

The masses will ascend upon New London’s beautiful Indian Trails Campground to celebrate, dance and be at the center of the event. There are 25 acts which will be performing over three days. Many talented local artists are collaborating to build installations and run a myriad of different booths.

There will be a 5k walk/run thru the trails on the campgrounds, a contra dance, morning yoga, and a new event called the Pizza Slam. There will be food trucks, movie projector screen, fire spinners and old fashioned games. King Midget car rides, as well as a solar phone charging station will also be available. All proceeds will be benefiting the Crystal Tower Women and Children’s Shelter in Sandusky.

“Of all the funky get downs I’ve been a part of, Jubileego continues to shock my monkey soul,” JubileeGo founder Matthew Beebe said.

“But with all the cool cats I know, really the trajectory shouldn’t surprise me. I mean, I’m no paleontologist, but as soon as I heard the term Pizza Slam drop, I knew I was gonna dig it.”

“This is the biggest off-the-radar deal happening in middle Ohio today,” he added. “I can tell, because everyone around me is getting juiced up beyond belief excited.”
