Firelands Electric Cooperative has announced the winners of The A Team drawing for the month of April.

Emma Packard, daughter of Josh and Wendy Packard, of Ashland, is an eighth-grader at Ashland Middle School. Emily Weaver is a seventh-grader at Crestview Middle School and is the daughter of Dean and Becky Weaver, of Ashland. Kara Eberling, daughter of Tim and Michelle Eberling, of Ashland, is in the seventh grade at St. Edward School.

Sponsored by Firelands Electric, The A Team recognizes students in grades six through eight who had a minimum of three A’s on their most recent report card. Applicants also must reside in a home served by the co-op.

Students who submit a qualifying report card are entered into a drawing held after each grading period. Three winners from each drawing receive an iTunes gift card and are recognized in the Ohio Cooperative Living magazine and on the Firelands website and social media outlets. The deadline for the next drawing is July 10.

Complete guidelines are available on the cooperative’s website, www.firelandsec.com, by searching for “The A Team”. If you have any questions regarding this program, contact the Firelands Electric member services department at 1-800-533-8658 or [email protected]
