Parade, fireworks highlight Fireman's Festival in Greenwich

GREENWICH — The 44th annual 2018 Fireman’s Festival, sponsored by the Tri-Community Joint Fire District, kicked off Friday night and continues through Sunday with beautiful weather in the forecast.

The big event Friday was the introduction of the queen and her court and the truck pull.

Here is the remaining schedule, highlighted by today’s parade stepping off at 11 a.m.

Today

7 to 9 a.m. — Pancake breakfast

10 a.m. — Parade lineup.

11 a.m. — Parade.

1 p.m. — Friends of the library basket auction.

2 p.m. — Kids’ sawdust scramble.

2 p.m. — St. Vincent LifeFlight.

6 p.m. — Tractor pull.

7 p.m. — Live music.

Sunday

7 to 9:30 a.m. — Pancake breakfast.

10 a.m. — Church service under the big tent.

1:30 p.m. — Pedal pull.

6 p.m. — Demolition derby.

7 p.m. — Live music with the County Line Band.
