Paw Patrol to visit Huron County Humane Society at Woofstock

By Norwalk Reflector Staff • May 13, 2018 at 8:00 AM

The Huron County Humane Society will host its annual Woofstock event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at its facility, 246 Woodlawn Avenue.

Join in for a carnival of fun including food trucks, games, face painting, vendors, access to Conway Dog Park and more. All you need to enter the dog park is your furry friend's current and up-to-date shot record along with their 2018 dog license. There will be a special appearance by Chase, Marshall and Skye from the Paw Patrol, courtesy of Fairytale Royal Parties, LLC. You do not need a furry friend to join in on the fun.

The funds earned from this fundraiser will help the humane society continue to provide a loving, safe and clean shelter to help anybody in a crisis situation with nowhere for their animals to go.

The humane society provides: temporary shelter; immediate and intensive veterinary medical care emphasizing spay and neuter; outreach and education programs specifically teaching about the humane care of animals and to reinforce concepts of kindness and respect for all living creatures; while enforcing animal welfare laws and conducting cruelty investigation and rescue by a deputized humane investigator.

Each year the Huron County Humane Society takes in hundreds of companion animals and successfully places many of them in loving homes. Your support of the HCHS allows it to continue to serve Huron County while continuing to share the news of the extraordinary need for humane society services and the fact that the HCHS relies solely on private contributions.
