“Obviously, someone has done it before and liked it,” the 23-year-old said about cooking.
“Definitely, go step by step,” she added.
“I like crockpot recipes,” Berger said with a laugh.
As the featured “Cook of the Week” for the Reflector, Berger was happy to share one her favorites recipes for Just Ordinary Cheesecake Bars.
“My mom makes this recipe really well,” she said. “We always bring it to potlucks and it’s a big hit.”
Berger said she doesn’t do a lot of cooking.
“I’ll make a grape salad, which is kind of the same concept,” she said.
She said Mexican food is her favorite along with Italian.
“I love pizza,” Berger said. “And I definitely have a sweet tooth.”
Corn casserole is one of the holiday dishes she enjoys.
“I’m not a big fan of ham and I’m just getting used to turkey,” Berger said about typical holiday food.
“I used to request mac and cheese,” she added.
Berger said the home refrigerator always contains chocolate milk, yogurt and fruit mix.
“I always have fruit,” she said.
Berger is employed as a Realtor at Century 21 Premiere Properties.
“It’s going very well,” she said. “I’m learning a lot, even more than I thought I would.
”I’ve been super busy, working with many buyers,“ Berger said. ”The staff here has been more than supportive. Any question I have I can call or text at anytime.“
Berger said the real estate market is active.
“Things are moving,” she said. “Houses are selling very quickly. A few homes have been on the market less than 48 hours.”
Berger enjoys working with first-time home buyers.
”It’s rewarding to be able to work with them on the biggest purchase of their life,“ she said.
Technology plays a key role today in real estate.
“I was in Florida last week and was able to work on two offers all from the computer,” she said.
