There are stores that we’ve all been in where you’ve had to actively search for a clerk to help you. Where once stores put a premium on providing good service they now struggle to survive by cutting staff and thus service suffers.
Let me tell you about a place where you’re greeted by a friendly staff member before you’ve gone ten feet into the store. That staff member follows up by asking if he/she can help you locate something. Once it’s known what you want you’ll be taken or directed to the section of the store that has just what you requested.
You’re in a store that has an incredible inventory. If you don’t think it will have what you need, just ask. Chances are excellent that if you asked for it the store will have it. If not, the staff will go on line and find it, followed by ordering it for you. It’s all about service and pleasing the customer.
The place of which I speak is not imaginary. It exists. It’s in Norwalk. It is Norwalk’s own ACE Hardware. Owned by Lisa and Greg Bleile, the hardware’s staff is outstanding. In particular, senior staff member Rebecca, is a go-to person for any questions you might have.
Norwalk’s ACE Hardware is another prime reason to shop locally. It’s a refreshing reminder of how selection and excellent customer service can make all the difference when you shop. I encourage you to give ACE Hardware a try.
