CLEVELAND (TNS) — Two people were hurt Tuesday in a shooting at a downtown Cleveland strip club, police say.

The shooting happened about 3 a.m. at Magic City strip club on St. Clair Avenue at East 23rd Street.

One man was shot in the chest and another in the leg and foot, police said.

Both were taken to MetroHealth, police said. Their conditions weren’t immediately available.

Police haven’t said what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.

The strip club has been the site of two major incidents last year.

In February, two men were shot, including one in the head, by Cleveland police officers after an officer was shot in the leg during a SWAT standoff outside the club. The duo in the car fired shots at police two different times and are charged with attempted murder.

In January 2017, a police officer on a special assignment to monitor drug and gun activity at the club saw a man walk from the club to his car and appeared to be doing drugs. A fight ensued and the man tried to drive off in his car, dragging the officer about 35 feet before knocking him to the ground, according to police.

The driver eventually was charged felonious assault against a police officer. His case is pending.
