BELLEVUE — On Saturday, police spoke to the mother of a woman who had not been heard from since Thursday.

The mother, a Bellevue resident, reportedly said her daughter, a Heter Street resident, took money from her previously and that she does not have a cellphone. She thought her daughter may be with her boyfriend or another man.

Before speaking to the mother, police received a call about an abandoned red Ford Focus behind a building on Kilbourne Street, which had been sitting there for about four days. Officers went to the owner’s residence, but did not find her.

They told the mother about the call, and she asked if they could call or have her daughter contact her when more is found out so she knows her daughter is all right.
