Edison, Monroeville, Willard asking voters to OK school levies in May

The following issues will appear on the May 8 primary election ballot in Huron County:

Monroeville Local School District - Replacement

Purpose: adding to, renovating, remodeling, furnishing, and equipping buildings and other equipment, including school buses and improving school sites

Rate: 1.8 mills for five years

Voting on the issue: Monroeville Local School District

Willard City School District - Income Tax

Purpose: current expenses

Rate: 1.25 percent for a continuing period of time

Voting on the issue: Willard City School District

Milan Village - Renewal

Purpose: current expenses

Rate: 3.5 mills for five years

Voting on the issues: Milan Village

Bellevue City - Income Tax

Purpose: general fund

Rate: 1/2 percent for a continuing period of time

Voting on the issue: Bellevue 3 & Bellevue 4

Edison Local School District - Substitute

Purpose: providing for the necessary requirements of the school district

Rate: 7.2 mills for a continuing period of time

Voting on the issue: Edison Local School District

Norwalk City - Replacement and Decrease

Purpose: recreational purposes

Rate: 0.65 mill for five years

Voting on the issue: Norwalk City
