The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a call around 10:36 p.m. Wednesday regarding an incident at the Pizza Post at 222 E. Main St.

An employee’s hand was caught in a dough roller, which firefighters unplugged and used a reciprocal saw to cut open.

They used the saw to cut off the end of one roller and spread the two rollers apart with a pry bar to remove the employee from the machine. North Coast EMS also responded to the call and treated the patient.
