Here are the local trick-or-treat times

Halloween is right around the corner, falling on a Tuesday this year.

Many local communities will hold trick-or-treat events on the actual holiday. Others have opted for a weekend day.

Here’s a list of the local times and events.

Norwalk: Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Gaymont Nursing Center on Norwood Avenue will be participating in the event, also passing out candy from 6 to 7:30. 

Bellevue: Trick-or-treat will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Greenwich: Trick-or-treat will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the parade taking place at 7 p.m. at South Central High School.

Milan: Trick-or-treat will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Monroeville: Trick-or-treat will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with the annual parade beginning at 3 at Monroeville High School on West Street and ending at the Huron River Joint Fire District station on Monroe Street, where a costume judging will begin.

North Fairfield: TBD

New London: Trick-or-treat will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Sandusky: City-wide trick-or-treat will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Other Halloween community events include the the 12th annual downtown trick-or-treat from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on Columbus Avenue.

Townsend Township: A Halloween open house will take place 1 to 4 p.m. at the fire station. Trick-or-treat will be from 4 to 6 p.m.

Wakeman: Trick or treat will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Willard: Trick-or-treat will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
